Another Loss

Weighed in yesterday and lost 0.6kg, not a big loss like I had hoped for, but it's still a loss.

I am resigned to the fact that my body always goes in a fortnightly cycle. Big loss Little loss, Big loss Little loss, and so on. Overall i've lost 8.8kgs which is just amazing to me! I still have like 46 to go, but still, I'm almost at my second goal of 10%, and I reached my first goal ahead of my target date!

I'm finding now it's becoming second nature to make better choices, not always, i'd be lying if I said it was always the case, sometimes I have horrible mental battles with myself about what I will or won't eat, but slowly that is changing.

I had a great moment of will power last weekend, Sam came home with McDonalds for lunch .. I could have killed him! Thinking he was picking out the best things on their menu he bought me a McChicken, a Cheeseburger AND an Apple Pie. Now, that's something like 16 points all up .. 16!!!! I ate the McChicken, and told him he could either eat the other two, or throw them out, that I wouldn't be having them .. he put them in the fridge, which I looked at all afternoon but I didn't cave in, I wanted to, but I didn't. I just knew for that amount of points it wasn't going to be worth it, I knew i'd feel terrible afterwards, not just mentally but physically as well!

Onto non WW things, I will finish fixing up the pages at the top of this blog soon .. I'm very slack I know, but life has been very busy lately.

So, onwards and upwards for another week, bring on that 10%/10kg Weight Loss!!

Blog Overhaul

Well as you may have noticed i've given my blog a HUGE overhaul!

I worked out how to use these new templates, and have spent the last hour adding pages to the links across the top.

At the moment some of the linked pages are blank, but I'll be working on them throughout the day to try and get them up and running.

Hope you all like the new blog, and hopefully I can get some good links and inspiration happening by this afternoon!

I've not posted in a while .. getting caught up in life and various things going on.

All is going well on the Weight Watchers front, I had weigh in yesterday with a loss of 1.8kg!! bringing my total up to 8.2 since I started. So chuffed!

Also, I got a Wii for Valentines Day and it is GREAT! I've actually been exercising and really getting a sweat up when I'm using it, which is great!

Not much else to report really .. Apart from my desire to eat continually in week 3 i've managed to stay on track, and i'm finding that things are starting to become more of a habbit now rather than having to consciously think about every choice I make.

So that's it for now ... I will be sure to get on here more often with hopefully some interesting stories to tell!

Measurements .. OMG

Well, I had a lovely day!

I went to the movies with Sam to see Avatar at the gold class (my second time seeing it, my excuse is I had to treat Sam to a day out lol) and did well, had some hummus and grissini, but allowed for it within my points, so all went well. After the movies it was off to mum and dads for dinner. Mum cooked a YUMMY WW recipe for steak with veggies and a mustard mash potato .. to die for! Then we did our measurements

I AM AMAZED.

I am in shock .. Whenever i've tried to lose weight before i've not done my measurements .. i've been happy that i've lost 6kg in total, but to see these sort of measurements in so motivating and helps me realise the hard work is really paying off!

Home alone saturday

This is the first Saturday i'm home alone. Sam (my wonderful fiance) has gone off into the city and it's just me and the cat.

Probably once every month or so he goes off to the city looking at music shops and car/hobby shops, which is good as I get to catch up on things at home, and enjoy the peace. The only issue is that in months past I have eaten heaps on these days, I tend to get a bit bored by the afternoon and start eating, so today will be a challenge for me.

Aside from this i'm going well drinking my water. I've had 1&1/2 600ml bottles so far today and it's only 1pm. I managed to drink about 4 bottles yesterday and felt great for it!

I've decided to scrap posting up my daily tracking, only because my internet plays up to no end and until it's fixed I can't always get on here each day. When it's working again I may go back to posting it daily.

In other news, i'm looking into some exercising options. There is one gym near here but I don't really like it, i've been there once before to check it out and although they had a "ladies only section" it was tiny, and in full view of everyone else .. and there were a lot of body building types there, which is just too intimidating for me at this stage. I'm not a very confident person, and need to work out in a place I feel at ease.

I did some research online last night, and was looking for a local fernwood .. but it's 20mins away, which isn't too bad .. but it is really a hassle to get to and I know I would not make the effort. There's also a curves which is really easy to get to, but i'm undecided if curves is for me, i've checked them out before and while i'm sure they're great I can see myself getting bored, and also if i'm going to a gym I want to be spending an hour there, not a 30minute circuit.

I do have a cross trainer at home .. but I lose motivation on it, which is why i'm thinking of my other option .. a personal trainer.

I found two in my local area who work independently of the gyms. One had info up on his website about his own weight loss, and his before and after shots were inspiring, however his website really came across as directed at men, lots of hard rock music playing in the background, and work out videos and options really directed at men, I don't think he'd be the right fit for me. The other guy on the other hand seemed really nice, very compasionate and I felt at ease listening to his video on the website, I think I may give him a call, or e-mail and find out some info on rates etc.

So i'm not 100% sure what i'll do at this stage, but I'm in the right head space to start exercising and making it a part of my lifestyle.

Thursday Weigh In

Just a quick post for now ... i've not been able to get on here to post up my daily tracking yesterday, or today until now . . . but I will have to come back later for that.

I had my weigh in this morning and I lost .... 2.1kgs!!! So for week 4 that brings my total to 6kgs!! I'm only 0.5kgs away from my first goal of 5% .. so excited.

I'm sure the difference has been drinking my water which I made a huge effort to do last week. 2bottles daily I managed on every day apart from i think one. This weeks goal is to up that to 2-3 per day and to GET MOVING .. I MUST start exercising.

This weeks loss has definitely boosted the motivation and confidence.

All I want to do is eat!!!

Since last night .. UGGHHHH!!!

I ended up having 26points .., which is ok, I had some saved, but still, I could've happily kept eating. I ended up adding a crumpet with vegemite, WW biscuits .. and my tracker is so muddled up I can't even see what else I added on, in between the crossing things out and writing new things in .. anyway .. new day today, although still all I want to do is eat and eat.

Here's todays plan:

Breakfast - 3 1/2 points
1 poached egg (2)
1 slice Helgas Multigrain (1 1/2)
Water (0)

Morning Tea - 1 Point
Banana (1)

Lunch - 8 points (I was at a friends .. eek!)
BBQ Chicken (3) i'm guessing, as I think I had between 70-100g at most
Couscous (3)
about 20-40g hot chips (2)
Salad (0)

Afternoon snack - 1 point
2 WW Triple Choc Biscuits

Dinner - 4 points
Mexican Beef, from the WW Website (4)
Salad (0)

Dessert/Evening Snack
Strawberry Fromage Frais (1 1/2)
WW Mint Icecream (2)
Mango207g  (1 1/2)

Total = 22 1/2

So i've got some points left if I HAVE to eat all evening .. although i'm having a go at this willpower thing .. how well it's working we're yet to see.

Off to do some groceries now .. I will report back later with my success!
