Good morning everyone!
Just a quick update as I am getting myself organised to go out for a belated birthday lunch with my parents, Fiance, best friend and her beautiful 4 1/2month old daughter.
I had a loss last week of 1.8kg (woohoo!!) making up for the previous weeks gain, even if I do attribute it to the change of clothing, it's still hard seeing the numbers go up!
My fiance Sam has started following the program with me and lost 1kg in his first week, despite have a 46, and a 50 point day when he is only meant to be on 29! So now I get twice the work of planning days, as I am planning his out as well, although I am getting him involved and giving him the occassional "points pop quiz" so he will learn for himself.
We've had a busy few days, Saturday night we had a BBQ at Nicoles (my best friend) which was lovely, she catered for my preferences wonderfully, it's always good going out to a friends when you know they understand what choices you like and accommodate them, it certainly took a lot of the stress off! Then yesterday we went to lunch with Sams mum out at Picton Brewery, I picked the best option on the menu, mind you it still came with 1/2kg of creamy mashed potato and a buttery sauce, I left majority of the mash behind and took off as much sauce as I could, I still thoroughly enjoyed it though. From lunch we went to visit Sams godmother who he last saw over 20 years ago at his fathers funeral, and before that it had only been when he was a very young boy. Of course this visit involved lots of italian pastries, and coffee, so I stuck to a couple of pieces of biscotti, very proud of myself for resisting the cream filled cannoli!!
So it continues today, to the local tavern for a belated birthday lunch as I said, as mum and dad were quite sick on my birthday and we missed out going out.
So that's where i'm at, when I get some free time I will continue building up the recipe page, but if you've not had a look at it yet I do have a few on there that I hope you like :)
